A mughal feast

Early, 16th century, the Mughal warriors invaded a forming distinct Kingdoms and states into a full empire that lasted for nearly 200 years. The Mughal Kings that ruled India, deplored the climate, and food of their new state, and set about creating the sophisticated society, including a cuisine that      both Hindu and Persian sensibilities. Mughal king made liberal use of cream, almonds and, saffron and other aromatic spices and sugar, lamb, dried fruits and rice. Sweets were very essential to the dinners so there would be always be tempting delights at the end a meal.
